What's in that Box?

We post this just before the truck takes off for Boston each week..

This is our final distribution to the Boston-Area this season

Green Kale: The big bunch of dark green leaves at the top of the box. Very fresh, delicious, and nutritious .

Green Cabbage: The big light green head near the top of the box.

Red Cabbage: The purple head near the top of the box.

Rutabagas: The maroon and yellow root near the middle of the box.

Turnips: The purple and white root near the middle of the box.

Beets: The maroon root near the middle of the box.

Carrots: Loose carrots, freshly dug, near the middle of the box.

Parsnips: Loose white roots, freshly dug, near the middle of the box- check the newsletter for a great recipe.

Potatoes: Yellow potatoes in the paper bag at the bottom of the box.

Onions: In the bag with the potatoes - storage, pungent yellow onions - we wish we had more!

Sweet Potatoes: Packed loose at the bottom of the box. Some might have some minor imperfections, but they are all sweet and delicious

Butternut Squash: The brown skinned squash at the bottom of the box.
