Brookfield Farm 2014 Events Calendar

Farm Events & Tours (in bold type) are open to all shareholders and their guests. Feel free to bring along anyone interested. All events will have suitable activities for small children (usually a very safe fun wagon ride around the farm).

Our Farm Crew works Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. If you ever want to come lend a hand, feel free to show up at the barn at 8 am or 1 pm and we'll find good work for you to do. No need to call ahead. If you want more info, send an email

Garlic Pop and Story Swap
a night of true live stories behind the barn.

We're making: Bonfire! Popcorn! Garlic Bread!

You bring cozy things to stay warm, and your own food or drinks if you want.

Help us "pop" garlic for seed (we'll be quietly separating the cloves from the head while we listen to the stories).

Storytellers (you are all storytellers) are invited to prepare a <7 minute story about something that happened to you. The theme for the night is "Raw." Usually most themes are more like a phrase or a sentence but we decided to keep this one short and sweet. Raw could mean anything- from something uncooked. Or something close to the bone. Something unprotected. Whatever story this words brings to mind for you, we want to hear it.  If you've got a story to tell, send Zoe and e-mail (zoe.abram@gmail.com) with a line describing it. We hope to see you all there!
