Pumpkin Harvest Party -
Help us harvest all of our pumpkins from the patch from 10:30 -11am.
(don't be late, this goes very quickly with lots of people!) then pick
out your pumpkin and take a wagon ride around the farm. A fun time for
all ages, especially little ones. Please note this year we will be very
short on pumpkins as one of our varieties didn't produce any pumpkins at
all (no idea why....). Since we will only have half of a crop, we will
only be able to give one pumpkin per family.....
Sat, October 22, 2 - 5pm
Potato Harvest & Cookout - Come help with our fall harvest...
Join us in the West Field, to pick up the last of our yellow potatoes and bring them to the root cellar. (The West Field is in walking distance from the farm shop - where the strawberries were in June - there will be a map in the farm shop if you're not sure where the field is).
Wear clothes that can get completely dirty and come anytime during the afternoon to help. We'll be picking up potatoes until about 4, and then loading them back to the barn between 4-5pm. At 5pm we'll have fresh-roasted potatoes and chili and the barn (feel free to bring some food that goes well with that, if you'd like).
This work is suitable for all ages. Feel free to bring your friends and neighbors for a fun time in the field.
