look for more opportunities (posted here) for how to help with our beloved garlic crop!
a night of true live stories behind the barn.
Come, sit by the fire, join in an evening of storytelling and keeping our hands busy! Help prepare the garlic for planting by “popping” the heads apart into individual cloves. This year the theme is “Underground.” Chosen because of the garlic, of course, which we plant in the fall and waits underground 'til spring, this theme could be used any way you want. Tell a story about dormancy, or something that happened in a basement, a counter-culture, something that bucks the trend, or take it in another direction. We’ll be sure stories are for all ages from 6 – 7. If you want to reserve a spot to tell a 5 – 7 minute story: e-mail Zoe (zoe@brookfieldfarm.org). We’re especially looking for folks who want to tell stories for all ages during the 6 – 7 hour.
