Thank You to All Who Have Supported This Campaign!

We have raised $558,183 and feel confident that this will secure the long-term home of Brookfield Farm

about the campaign:

At the start of the campaign, Brookfield Farm owned 20% of the tillable land we steward. As an increasingly competitive real estate market puts pressure on agricultural land, it has become apparent Brookfield Farm needs to take action to secure our tillable land base.

The goal of the Land Legacy campaign was to raise $550,000 to have on hand to purchase land as it becomes available so that 100% of our tillable land base is owned outright by Brookfield Farm.

Land legacy fund news:

In 2022, Brookfield Farm paid off the Warren Wright property bringing the tillable land owned outright by Brookfield Farm to 37% of the land we grow on. This land went into cultivation in 2022 and in 2024 we received funding from the NRCS and installed an irrigation well on the property to increase its agricultural capacity.

In 2025, Brookfield Farm purchased 20 acres of our leased land form the Gray family. We secured 9 acres of some of the best land we grow on and 11 acres of pastureland (the only pasture the farm owns). This increase our land ownership to 58% of the land we grow on.

Looking forward, we are holding the remaining funds earmarked specifically for land acquisition and we stand at the ready to secure the additional acres of tillable land we need to fulfill our vision of self-sufficiency.
